In this unit you'll be exploring a specific genocide occurrence and answering the following questions in your research paper :

What were the causes of this genocide?
How does this fit with the "8 Stages of Genocide" published by Genocidewatch.org?
What were the lasting effects of this genocide (what happened as a result)?
To what extent could/should others have stopped this, and why didn't they?
