Research Paper

Choose one or more of the following essential questions to organize your research paper around:

  • Why do wars occur? To what extent can they be avoided?
  • To what extent do individuals have a responsibility to advocate for justice or to take action against injustice?
  • How are individuals, cultures, and countries affected by war, conflict, and injustice?

Possible questions to consider:

  • Could this genocide or injustice have been prevented?
  • Should the rest of the world get involved?
  • Keep in mind the 8 Stages of Genocide
  • What events/factors led to the beginning of the mass injustice?
  • What stages did the mass injustice go through (what were the main events and important statistics)?
  • What did the rest of the world do?  How involved did others get to try and stop the injustice?
  • What was life like after for the people involved?
